With a background of twelve years in the beauty industry, Olympia’s strong desire for creative growth prompted her to move to New York City. She went from doing hair and makeup in small salons on Long Island to working as an editorial makeup and hair stylist backstage during Fashion Week, on film sets, and for numerous fashion editorial campaigns. This journey reached a milestone when she became a contributing writer at The Knockturnal, where she used her knowledge of the beauty and fashion industry to share her insights on products and campaigns. After three years, she progressed to the role of beauty and fashion editor, highlighting her evolution from local roots to cosmopolitan innovator. Her strong sense of leadership led her to embrace a new endeavor in founding The New Blaque, a platform where she can highlight diversity in the beauty and fashion industry.
